The Children’s Ministry Team oversees numerous events and activities for families with children under the age of 10. Some of these events include an annual Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat, and Gingerbread House Decorating. The Children’s Ministry Team also puts out a twice-yearly packet as part of our “Faith@Home” program designed to support families as they talk about and teach their children the faith at home. These packets include a story book, craft project, and activities packets.
The Children’s Ministry also includes the running of the church nursery. A volunteer-staffed nursery is available every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, with the room open for parents to accompany their child on the days there are no volunteers. Jesus frequently reminds us how precious children are to Him and we strive to make Faith Lutheran a place were families of all ages can come worship and enjoy the presence of God.
